The short version. Ses Notu records a meeting, turns it into text, and writes a summary. Your transcripts and summaries are stored on your device — we do not keep a copy.
Audio is never saved as a file. It is streamed for transcription while you speak and then it is gone. Nothing you record is used to train anyone's models by us, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
There is no account and no login. There is no advertising identifier and no cross-app tracking. We do measure anonymous usage events — which screens are opened, whether a request succeeded — and we receive a crash report when the app crashes or freezes. Neither one ever contains what was said.
This app is provided by Mustafa Utku Bayık ("we", "us"). For anything in this policy, write to support@jobbar.ai.
Under the GDPR we are the data controller for the processing described here.
When you start a recording, the microphone audio is sent, as you speak, over an encrypted connection to Soniox, our speech-to-text provider, which converts it to text and identifies which speaker said what. The app never writes audio to a file — not on your device and not on our servers. Once a recording ends, only the text exists.
What Soniox does with audio in transit is governed by their own terms; see the Soniox privacy policy.
The transcript, the summary, action items and your chat history are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. We have no server that holds them and no way to read them.
To produce a summary or answer a question about a meeting, the app sends the text of that meeting to Google (Gemini, via Firebase AI Logic). Google processes it to generate the response. See the Firebase privacy information.
Before the app can start a recording it proves it is a genuine, unmodified copy using Apple's App Attest, through Firebase App Check. This stops other people from using our transcription account at our expense. It identifies the app installation, not you.
Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card, your Apple Account password or your billing address. To confirm that a subscription is active, the app sends Apple's signed transaction record to our server. That record contains the product, the transaction identifier and the expiry date — no payment details and no name.
Our server function runs in the European Union (Google Cloud, europe-west1). It logs
technical events — when a transcription key was issued, and errors — together with the app
installation identifier. Transcripts never reach this server.
The app counts anonymous product events through Firebase Analytics (Google) — a recording was started, a screen was opened, a request to an external service succeeded or failed. Purpose: to see which parts of the app are used and where they break, so we can fix and improve them.
Turning it off: you can switch usage analytics off at any time with the “Send usage statistics” switch at the bottom of the “Recognised voices” screen (Library → Voices); while it is off, no events are sent.
An event carries its name and short numeric or categorical parameters. It never carries content: no transcript, no meeting title, no speaker name, no summary. There is no account, so nothing is tied to your identity, and the advertising identifier (IDFA) is never collected. How long: Google keeps event-level records for 14 months; aggregated reports, which cannot be traced back to a device, are kept for as long as the app exists.
Purpose: to find and fix crashes and freezes. Without this, we only learn that the app crashed if somebody writes to us. There are two paths, and neither one carries anything you recorded.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google). When the app crashes, a crash report is sent to Google. It contains the call stack at the moment of the crash, the exception or signal code, the app and OS version and the device model, together with an installation identifier that Crashlytics generates. That identifier ties a crash to an installation of the app, not to you — there is no account to tie it to, and reinstalling the app produces a new one. How long: Google keeps crash reports for 90 days.
Apple MetricKit → our server. Separately, iOS itself writes a daily diagnostic
report covering freezes, launch time and CPU or disk problems, and hands it to the app the next
time you open it; the app forwards it to our server in the EU. This report is written by iOS, not
by us, and the app adds nothing of its own to it. Because Apple delivers it at most once a day,
it is a next-day report, not live monitoring. How long: 90 days on our server
(Google Cloud, europe-west1), then deleted automatically.
Neither report contains audio, transcripts, speaker names or summaries, and neither is used for tracking or advertising. We never attach your identity to a crash report.
If you tap a button to add an action item to Reminders or Calendar, that happens on your device and only for the item you tapped. If you tap the email button, the app opens a draft in your mail app — the app never sends mail on your behalf. You press send.

Our server runs in the EU. Soniox, Google and Apple may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards those companies publish — Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
You can delete any recording inside the app, which removes its transcript, summary and chat from your device permanently. Deleting the app removes all of it at once. Because we hold no copy, this is complete deletion — there is nothing left for us to erase.
Under the GDPR you also have the right to access, correct, export or restrict processing of personal data we hold, and to object to it. In practice the only data we can hold is technical logs tied to an app installation and crash reports, which are not tied to you at all. Write to support@jobbar.ai and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.
This is your responsibility, not ours, but it matters enough to say here. In many countries everyone in a conversation must be told that it is being recorded, and in some, consent is required. The app reminds you at the start of every recording. Please tell the room.
Ses Notu is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly process their data.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and note the change in the App Store release notes.

Uygulama Firebase Analytics (Google) üzerinden anonim ürün olaylarını sayar: kayıt başladı, bir ekran açıldı, dış servise giden bir istek başarılı oldu ya da olmadı. Amaç: uygulamanın hangi bölümlerinin kullanıldığını ve nerede bozulduğunu görmek, düzeltmek ve geliştirmek.
Kapatmak: kullanım ölçümünü istediğin zaman “Tanınan sesler” ekranının altındaki (Kütüphane → Sesler) „Kullanım istatistiği gönder” anahtarıyla kapatabilirsin; kapalıyken hiçbir olay gönderilmez.
Bir olay yalnızca adını ve kısa sayısal/kategorik parametrelerini taşır. İçerik asla taşımaz: ne transkript, ne toplantı başlığı, ne konuşmacı adı, ne özet. Hesap olmadığı için hiçbiri kimliğinize bağlanmaz; reklam kimliği (IDFA) hiç toplanmaz. Saklama süresi: Google tarafında olay düzeyindeki kayıtlar 14 ay tutulur; cihaza geri götürülemeyen toplulaştırılmış raporlar uygulama var oldukça kalır.
Amaç: çökmeleri ve donmaları bulup düzeltmek. Bu olmadan bir çökmeden ancak birisi bize yazarsa haberimiz olur. İki ayrı yol var ve hiçbiri kaydettiklerinizi taşımaz.

İçinde çökme anındaki çağrı yığını, istisna/sinyal kodu, uygulama ve işletim sistemi sürümü, cihaz modeli ve Crashlytics'in ürettiği bir kurulum kimliği bulunur. Bu kimlik çökmeyi uygulamanın bir kurulumuna bağlar, size değil — bağlanacak bir hesap yoktur ve uygulamayı yeniden kurduğunuzda yenisi üretilir. Saklama süresi: Google çökme raporlarını 90 gün tutar.

Sunucumuz AB'de çalışır. Soniox, Google ve Apple veriyi ülkenizin dışında, ABD dahil olmak üzere işleyebilir; bu şirketlerin yayımladığı güvenceler (Standart Sözleşme Hükümleri ve uygulanabildiği yerde AB–ABD Veri Gizliliği Çerçevesi) geçerlidir.
Uygulama içinden herhangi bir kaydı silebilirsiniz; bu, o kaydın transkriptini, özetini ve sohbetini cihazınızdan kalıcı olarak kaldırır. Uygulamayı silmek hepsini bir defada kaldırır. Bizde bir kopya bulunmadığı için bu tam bir silme işlemidir — bizim silecek bir şeyimiz kalmaz.
Ayrıca kişisel verilere erişme, düzeltme, taşıma, işlemeyi kısıtlama ve itiraz etme haklarınız vardır.
