Meeting transcription prices: what it costs from Turkey

Almost every tool in the category is priced in dollars. Seen from Turkey, the list price on its own says very little: the exchange rate, the card's own rate, and the fact that the quota is measured in minutes all change the arithmetic. That is why the table below carries the lira equivalent alongside.

List prices and their lira equivalent

Prices taken from the providers' own pricing pages on 16 September 2026. The lira equivalent is computed with the Turkish Central Bank's selling rate for that day: 1 USD = 48.6460 TL.

Fireflies does not publish figures on its pricing page; the plan names are there (Free, Pro, Business, Enterprise) but you have to get in touch for a price (checked at fireflies.ai/pricing on 16 September 2026).

Note: the languages Otter supports are English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Chinese — Turkish is not among them. Having a price in the table does not mean it can be used for a Turkish meeting; the detail is in the Otter comparison.

Three items that stack on top of the list price

  1. The card's exchange rate. The lira equivalents above use the central bank rate; spending dollars on a card brings the bank's own rate and its commission into play. The figure that lands on the statement is usually a few points higher.
  2. Paying a year up front. Most of the cheapest rows in the table are annual plans: $8.33/month means paying $99.99 today. If you want monthly flexibility, the column to compare is the monthly one.
  3. Minutes you do not use. Minute quotas do not roll over. For someone with two meetings a week, a 2,400-minute plan means 2,000 minutes thrown away at the end of the month.

A minute quota, or a number of recordings

The category standard is monthly minutes. That is a meaningful measure for teams with long, infrequent meetings; but for someone with three short meetings a day, tracking the quota is a job in itself. Ses Notu has no minute quota: the subscription does not limit the length or the number of recordings. One recording can be made for free without subscribing; after that it is the subscription.

There is also this: some of these tools take the meeting only by putting a bot into an online call. In a meeting where everyone is in the same room, how large the quota is does not matter — there is no link to join. That distinction has its own page.

What a lira subscription changes

Ses Notu is ₺199.99/month on the Turkish App Store. The advantage is not only exchange-rate risk: because the payment goes through Apple, there is no managing a dollar subscription on a company card, hunting for the invoice, or explaining it to accounting. The first week is free for new subscribers.

To be straight about it, there is one item that turns the table around: Ses Notu only runs on iPhone and Apple Watch. If you are on Android or a desktop, how cheap it is does not matter — this list is three rows short for you.
